ChinaEdu Corporation Signs New Learning Center University Partner

BEIJING, CHINA – May 6, 2010 – ChinaEdu Corporation (NASDAQ: CEDU) ("ChinaEdu" or "the Company"), a leading educational services provider in China, today announced that it has signed a recruiting and support cooperation agreement with Sichuan Agricultural University. 

Sichuan Agricultural University is one of the 68 universities that are currently licensed to offer online degree education by the Ministry of Education in China.  Under the agreement, the Company’s nationwide learning center network will provide recruiting and support services to Sichuan Agricultural University’s online college for a period of five years.

Sichuan Agricultural University is the first agricultural institution in Sichuan province and was founded in 1906.  The university consists of three separate campuses which covers over 4,500 Chinese acres.  There are 17 colleges, six research centers with 70 bachelor degrees as well are multiple centers for advanced studies and search.  There are more than 30,000 students enrolled and over 2,900 masters’ student, with over 1,500 professors and 500 administrative professionals.  Sichuan Agricultural University is well known for its programs in agricultural, engineer, medicine, science, management and education.

ChinaEdu’s learning center network is currently providing recruiting and support services to 17 university’s online college which includes: Nanjing University, Chongqing University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Dongbei Normal University, Jilin University, Fujian Normal University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Southwest Jiaotong University, Beijing Jiaotong University, China Agricultural University, China University of Geoscience (Wuhan), Beijing Foreign Studies University, Jiangnan University, Xiamen University, South China Normal University, Beijing Language and Culture University and Sichuan Agricultural University.
