ChinaEdu Schedules Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for September 24, 2008

BEIJING – September 4, 2008 – ChinaEdu Corporation (NASDAQ: CEDU) ("ChinaEdu" or "the Company"), an educational services provider in China, today announced that it will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. local time in its Beijing headquarters, located at 4th Floor-A, GeHua Building, Qinglong Hutong No.1, Dongcheng District, Beijing, China 100007.  Stockholders of record at the close of business on August 15, 2008 will be entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the meeting or by proxy.

The Company's 2007 Annual Report on form 20-F and the CEO’s Letter to Shareholders can be downloaded from the Company’s investor relations website at http://ir.chinaedu.net/.  Upon request, the Company will provide hard copies of these documents free of charge.
